Event Portfolio

Mestiza Makes is run by Mae (they/siya), a Queer Filipino-American creative born in the Philippines and raised on the West Coast. Their work highlights skate subcultures, alternative fashion, and advocacy for bodily autonomy. This includes LGBTQIA+ rights, urbanism/public infrastructure access, tech justice, pre-colonial Pinoy culture, and more. Part of proceeds are raised for various mutual aid groups to help those in need, with a current focus on QTBIPOC and immigrant mutual aid.
