Returns

Due to the limited and handmade nature of our products, we currently do not accept returns or exchanges and all sales are final. We do not give refunds if you changed your mind on your order, the date you wanted it for passed, etc. Please read the info provided in each listing before placing your order, and note the lead time (mentioned in the shop announcement bar) for handmade orders. If you have a deadline you need your items by, please reach out via email before ordering so we can confirm if we will be able to have it to you by then! Rush order fees may apply. 

Warranty

Damaged or defective items can be replaced (if still in stock) or refunded within 30 days of receiving. Please email us a photo with your order number and we’ll gladly send you a new one! In cases like these, we will pay the cost of shipping.

Lost Packages

Unfortunately, sometimes things get lost in transit. Mestiza Makes is not responsible for any lost packages that have been correctly shipped out, both domestic and international. However, when this happens it is unfortunate for both of us, so we’d love to find a reasonable compromise! Please let us know if you haven’t received your package after four weeks and we’ll look into it.

Customs Duty/Import Tax

All International orders are subject to import taxes which are imposed by country to country tax regulations and are common with ordering overseas. These duties are payable by the customer at time of delivery. 

Many times orders are on hold to be delivered, until the receiver pays this tax. You should receive a notice from your local postal service if you must pay one—please respond to their request fast! If you do not pay the import tax in a timely manner, the package may be returned back to us and you will have to pay the shipping costs again to get it reshipped to you.
